Why Earl's Gurls?

I lost my father on April 30, 2007 after a 9 month battle of leukemia, a form of cancer that's found in the blood and bone marrow. It was a long, hard time in my life but I made it through primarily because my parents taught me the meaning of death a long time ago.

My father, Earl, was the most influential person in my life here on earth. In the 31 years I was blessed to have him, he taught me things that some people don't learn in a lifetime. He was an excellent speaker, an awesome teacher, loved to laugh and make you laugh. He was a great dad! He taught me how to be an entreprenuer, importance of marketing and pricing, and having a great work ethic. But most importantly, he taught me family is everything.

I label my brand in honor of my dad - for every concept I am able to put into this I would not know if he hadn't been such an awesome father and taught me and my sisters (the 'Gurls') by the example that he showed in his own work ethic.

The online store is tentatively set to launch in October. I hope to see you at the checkout.

And All The People Said Amen....
